Decent Browser, gets the job done... but I'm practically just as unhappy due to the subscription add on, you can't just have something for free and then add paywalls to it later without warning or just setting up premium... that's a BAD business practice, should've just made a different app browser for that... Personally I'd believe you're trying to steal money from people for simple potentially impractical services that used to be free... but I know you guys wouldn't do that right? EDIT: I did.

Puffin issued a six-month warning: If piracy can't be reduced to 50% or less, Puffin will require a subscription to curb it entirely. However, the piracy rate increased to 90%, and the free Puffin was no longer freely accessible. It is evil of you to suggest, "If pirating users can't steal from Puffin, it is as bad as Puffin is stealing from them".

That offer of "buy the subscription" is constantly popping up during the use of an app. Delete this app for the better

Due to excessive pirating, Puffin requires a paid subscription to curb piracy. Please install and subscribe to Puffin from Google Play Store. The postpaid subscription costs $1/month and the prepaid subscription costs $0.25/week or $0.05/day. Short-term prepaid subscriptions allow users to pay for Puffin only when they genuinely need to use Puffin.

The subscription model is very costly. Just like you made your first puffin pro a one time purchase, get back to that model and that too at an affordable price. As far as piracy is concerned, since the browser is cloud based, you can use it in such a way that the pirated browser is not able to connect to your server. I am sure developers will understand these things and come up with a better solution.Edit-All the best for your journey ahead .

Paid (pay-to-download) apps are dead on Android because Android allows users to pirate apps at will from pirating websites. Users know this well and suggest developers to choose paid apps instead of subscription so they can continue pirating the apps.

What's new

Puffin Incognito Browser is free to download but requires a paid subscription to function. In this release (10.5.0.61369), we fixed several reported issues. Thanks for using Puffin.
