First things first: you know smoking is harmful to your body. Despite this, many people continue to smoke. So, why should you quit? When you quit smoking, you enhance the quality and longevity of your life and the lives of those around you. One effective way to prepare for a successful smoke-free journey is to download QuitNow on your phone.

QuitNow is a proven app designed to motivate you to quit smoking. It encourages you to avoid tobacco by helping you visualize yourself as a non-smoker. Quitting becomes easier when you focus on these four key areas:

🗓️ Your ex-smoker status: When you quit smoking, the spotlight should be on you. Recall the day you quit, and crunch the numbers: how many days have you been smoke-free, how much money have you saved, and how many cigarettes have you avoided?

🏆 Achievements: your motivations to quit smoking: Just like any other task in life, quitting smoking is easier when you break it down into smaller, manageable steps. QuitNow offers you 70 goals based on the cigarettes you’ve avoided, the days since your last smoke, and the money you’ve saved. This means you can start celebrating your accomplishments right from day one.

💬 Community: the ex-smokers' chat: When you quit smoking, it’s important to stay in non-smoking environments. QuitNow provides a chat filled with people who, like you, have bid farewell to tobacco. Surrounding yourself with non-smokers will make your journey smoother.

❤️ Your health as an ex-smoker: QuitNow gives you a list of health indicators that explain how your body improves day by day. These indicators are based on information from the World Health Organization, and we update them as soon as the WHO releases new data.

Most people looking to quit seek advice online, and there’s a lot of misleading information out there. We researched the archives of the World Health Organization to find studies they’ve conducted and their conclusions. In the Frequently Asked Questions section, you’ll find answers to all your queries about quitting smoking.

🤖 The QuitNow AI: Occasionally, you might have unusual questions that don’t appear in the FAQ. In those cases, feel free to ask the AI: we've trained it to respond to those quirky inquiries. If it doesn’t have a good answer, it will reach out to the QuitNow team, who will update their knowledge base so it can provide better responses in the future. By the way, yes: all of the AI’s answers are sourced from WHO archives, just like the tips in the FAQ.

📚 Books to quit smoking: Familiarizing yourself with techniques for quitting smoking can make the process easier. There’s always someone talking about books in the chat, so we did some research to find out which ones are the most popular and which can genuinely help you quit for good.
