Our school has recently onboarded this app. A couple of bits of feedback. 1) I agree the app name Weduc is confusing. I keep having to look for that over Reach More Parents which is how it's typically referenced. 2) Notifications, or lack of. When you install the app on an Android device, there's no system prompt for runtime permissions to notifications. I've spoken to multiple parents who've not been getting notifications of our schools news feed as a result.

Hi Adam, thank you for your feedback. We will be renaming the app shortly. To check all notification settings: device settings (long press app icon and select 'i' for information), and also App Settings in app (lower right '3 horizontal bars' icon, select App Settings 'cog wheel' icon and then Notifications.

This app doesn't work correctly at all. I keep missing important information from the school. Currently it's only showing me posts from March, even though the notifications are telling me there are important posts from last week about possible strike days, and I can't even open the post to see when and if the school is closing. Absolutely ridiculous. Especially as I got no notifications last week, at all, and I usually get about 20 notifications for the same post up to 4 weeks after the fact.

Hi Caron, if you go into app settings > notifications you can set the notifications you require to receive from the Reach More Parents app, hopefully this will solve your issue. If not there may be something else that is causing the problem so could you contact support@weduc.com or phone 01509 221 349 and we will help you sort this out.

Since school switched to this app I've missed so much important info. We used to get an email or text which used to clearly say what the message referred to. Now we get a constant stream of endless notifications, multiple per day, that just say "you have a notification" and you have to click each one and go into the app to find out what it is. 90% of the time it's something completely irrelevant, so it's incredibly easy to miss something important in the background noise of repeated notifications

Thank you for your feedback. Have you tried filtering the app notifications? Click on the main riser (bottom toolbar right most icon) then select App Settings, and then Notifications. From there you can specify a quiet time and/or filter which notifications you wish to receive. Please contact us at support@weduc.com if you have any further issues.
