Roland Satellite Camera is a camera application for AeroCaster LIVE, AeroCaster Switcher and GO:PODCAST. Your smartphone or tablet can be used as a camera for live streaming.

When used together, the AeroCaster Switcher app, AeroCaster LIVE app, and VRC-01 AeroCaster hardware or the GO:PODCAST app create a cable-free, multi-camera switcher system that livestreams to popular platforms over a wireless network.

This app also works with the AeroCaster Switcher app to create a wireless multi-camera expansion for compatible Roland Video Switchers.

Ratings and reviews

Phone was updated and now the app is not working. When the app is started I get a message that says "Please allow camera, recording audio, write external storage in Settings." I have looked on the phone settings, and enabled them, but I still can't get past the message and satellite camera will not link up with Aerocaster Live app. I have gone as far as uninstalling and reinstalling the app and still doesn't work.

I actually like the whole aerocaster system alot! I just want to see the camera app support a portrait angle!!! Landscape is really nice for group shots but when you're using a multicam set up, you want to be able to isolate the subject. Please make this come true!!!

I should have read the reviews prior to purchasing the Aerocaster. I am not an iPhone user, and I wanted to use a Note 10 & Note 20 as satellite cameras. As many of the reviewers here, I was not able to set up my Samsung phones, and I will be returning the equipment for a refund. I wish that Roland was upfront with letting customers know that the Samsung phones can't be used as external cameras and can only be used to connect a presentation using Google Chrome.
