The company I have my cell service with provided a transfer data app. When it came to my text messages, it was over 4 hours of waiting, and I called it quits. I looked online, and others were frustrated and had the same concern. I found this app on a whim as a last chance to try and save my texts. (They're good references with my line of work) I have over 5gb of messages, and this app was able to transfer them all within an hour and easy to use. I was highly impressed.

Does what it says, but not completely. I can get all my text messages I received backed up to a .txt file on my phone but none of the text messages I send are saved to it. This is kind of a deal breaker because I loose context in the messages when it's only one sided. I'm happy it works and I can backup something but I really wish it would backup my half of the text messages.

I wanted to give it 5 stars, but it was basically made useless. All of my messages were restored, but theres a catch: text messages that I sent were restored in their own message with me as the recipient. So, for example, text messages between me and my cousin only show his messages, and all of my replies to him AND to every other recipient Ive ever texted are in a separate message box. Tear
