they have gotten greedy and apparently have 2 plans. and have titles that, of course, are only available in the more expensive plan now. The worse thing is there is absolutely no way to upgrade to the plus plan! I've tried through Google, like they tell you, I've gone to the website, and looked in the app. there is no way to change the subscription. I used to love this app. no I cannot even recommend like I used to

Scribd’s system automatically stores your card details (with some digits concealed) and still attempts to bill you $9.99 once the trial ends — even though you’ve already cancelled. This feels DECEPTIVE AND UNFAIR. I made sure to cancel my free trial, yet the system still attempted to charge me.And coming from an app that claims to make reading easier

Awesome for non fiction art books!!! Unsure about fiction. That seems quite limited in comparison. Some scans are better quality than others but much better than having to wait for the library to get old tattered copies. A lot probably arnt in circulation anymore even. I just hope the price doesn't increase too much.
