CREATE LIFE ON MARS

Lead a corporation and launch ambitious Mars terraforming projects. Direct massive construction works, manage and use your resources, create cities, forests and oceans, and set rewards and objectives to win the game!

In Terraforming Mars, place your cards on the board and use them wisely:
- Achieve a high Terraform Rating, by increasing the temperature and oxygen level or creating oceans... Make the planet habitable for future generations!
- Get Victory Points by building cities, infrastructure and other ambitious projects.
- But watch out! Rival corporations will try to slow you down... That's a nice forest you planted there... It'd be a shame if an asteroid crashed right on it.

Will you be able to lead humanity into a new era? The terraforming race begins now!

Features:

Ratings and reviews

This is a superb digital adaptation of one of my favourite board games! However, as with most Asmodee games, it is let down by their servers/infrastructure. This isn't so much an issue when playing real time, but I like to play async (where each player is noticed of their turn and then can take it in their own time). This is great, apart from the fact asmodee update the app and then your in progress games no longer work or entirely vanish!

Update 24/09/24 - no change, 1 friend refuses to use the app now. Tutorial could be better. Game is a nightmare, lots of bugs/design issues. If reserved player doesn't join, can't remove game or cancel it. Have to keep rechoosing cards, app lets you choose out of sequence but wont save out of seq. Loads of issues in 4-player game moving game along. "Support" takes forever to respond, if they respond at all. An update locked me out of in-flight games. Turn notifications not poss on my phone.

This review would have been higher, but a recent update brought in a few annoying bugs - including not being able to select multiple of a resource to spend when you should be able to, for example you can stack microbes on Sulphur Eating Bacteria and then spend ANY amount to gain 3x as Money. Currently you can only sell 1 at a time, making the card worthless.
