I used to LOVE this app; it was simple, convenient, and useful. I had kept my number for a few years. I used it for mainly doctor, work, and school. I would text once a month to keep my number, but now it's like 2-3 days I have to text to keep it. Which is utterly annoying, and it's filled with spam calls. I'm looking into getting an actual service provider now because textnow is just kind of pointless and useless.

I live out in the sticks where making phone calls is agony, so having a number that can call off of WiFi is very important to me. I just started using this but it already saved me. My fiance lost their phone at work and my data wasn't working at all so I couldn't call it, but with this I was able to get a connection to call them and they were able to find their phone. I don't give 5 stars to apps too often, but this one earned it for this.

This app just plain doesn't work. I enter my email to create an account which leads to a 'press and hold' screen. After I press and hold it just goes right back to the email entry screen. So this app certainly doesn't have messaging nor voicemail. It just doesn't work. There are so many of these second number apps available. I just don't have time to waste on this.

What’s new

We did a little fine-tuning this time around to squash some bugs and fix a few crashes. Nothing major, but you might notice things running more smoothly.
