Worked fine for a long time but now the free version is so unresponsive as to be completely useless. It seems to use so much CPU power figuring out which ad to display, that it has no time left to actually listen to the note and move the needle. You turn a tuning peg, or move to the next string and the needle does nothing, then after about 20 seconds it suddenly jumps. So, as I said, useless.

I used this app for years without problem. One day I opened it and it wanted me to consent to ads (fine, I've always had them). Except that didn't work and the consent box completely obliterated the tuner so I couldn't use it. In desperation I paid £5 for the ad free version, still doesn't work, still get the consent box taking up the whole screen so have paid £5 for NOTHING. Uninstalled, reinstalled etc, still doesn't work, must be a scam. Avoid.

Imogen, the consent dialog issue was a bug fixed in the latest release. As to your purchase: you have probably kept running the free version even after you have purchased the paid version (both have the same icon). If you would be as kind as to give this app another try, it would be much appreciated...

Used this tuner for years. Back on android recently and thought I'll just pay for it. Great tuner, so worth it. Or so I thought. Since I paid for it, every time I open it theres a pop up for data harvesting. Every time I select ad-free it re-directs me to playstore to re-pay for it. Every time I try and set my preferences, it endlessly spins me in circles. Uninstalled, reinstalled. Same. Even though I've paid I can't use it without having my data harvested. Wish I'd known before I wasted money.
