I've been wanting to get back to RSS for my news for a long time, but couldn't stomach what some RSS reader developers are charging for the privilege of using their platform. Enter: Twine. Twine is easy to navigate and use, has a built-in browser for articles, and looks great! If you're looking for a new RSS reader, Twine is definitely worth a look.

Update: The app has improved so much since I last checked it out! It's running great, is really pretty, and loads pretty much all of the feeds I was following on Feedly! Really happy with it. All it would take for this to be a five-star RSS feed for me personally would be a better in-app reader mode, text to speech, and notifications for new articles in a feed. That being said, it's a tight app and you can feel the care being put into it. I really do love it, even despite my personal wants.

Used to like it a lot. But it's now almost unusable after the recent update. Takes minutes to refresh and load the latest feed. And all important features now under a paywall. Will be looking to get smth else now. Edit: I don't care much about the paywall, but why is the feed so slow to load now? No options for fonts, etc no customization.. it used to be such a pleasing app. Even the links UI in a page is broken now, most articles dont load correctly anymore.

EDIT: have you tried the new 2.3.0 update? Can you check if the sync performance had improved?
Reader customisation is a paid feature.
