About this app

[Basic app information]
- This is the official application of U+ developed and operated directly by LG U+ to apply for compensation for customers who subscribe to LGU+ mobile phone loss/damage insurance. (Customers with insurance from other carriers cannot use it.)
- This app allows you to apply for compensation for loss or damage depending on your insurance product (smartphone/pad/watch).
- This app is supported from Android 7.0 and above.

[Basic Guide]
- Customers with damage will be processed more quickly if they use the app after completing repairs at the A/S center.
- If you have lost your phone, please contact the U+ Customer Center (1644-5108) to ‘Find Lost Phone Location’ and ‘Report Lost Phone’.

[Usage procedures and screen functions]
- (In case of damage) Log in → Accident report → Submit required documents → Document screening → Repair fee deposit
- (In case of loss) Login → Accident report → Submit required documents → Document review → Select compensation mobile phone → Select receipt method → ​​Courier delivery inquiry/Visit store inquiry

[Providing new features of U+]
1) You can log in according to your circumstances even without a public certificate.
- Log in to my cell phone (damaged): Cell phone text message / U+ID authentication
- Log in to another mobile phone (lost): Telecommunication fee payment information (enter the last 4 digits of bank account/card number)
※If application for compensation is not smooth due to problems with smartphone performance, storage space, etc., please apply through the website or compensation center.

2) By using the app, you can minimize the documents you submit.
- (Common documents): You do not need to submit ‘insurance claim form’ and ‘personal information processing consent form’, just select 6 items in the app.
- (In case of damage): LG Electronics customers do not need to submit a 'repair receipt' or 'repair estimate' as it will be encrypted and linked to the telecommunication company/insurance company when they agree to provide repair information after completing repairs at the A/S center.
※ Samsung Electronics/Apple customers need to register after taking required documents. (To be linked in the future)
- (In case of loss): There is no need to submit a ‘Lost Receipt’.

3) Apply immediately from compensation application to completion and we will inform you of the progress.
- (In case of loss) You can select a compensated mobile phone directly from the app and pay the deductible.
- (In case of loss) When receiving a compensation mobile phone, you can receive it on the same day by visiting a nearby direct store in addition to courier delivery (Seoul/Gyeonggi available).
- (Progress status information) Accident registration → document review → damage repair fee payment (compensation in case of loss, mobile phone delivery tracking) We will inform you of the status at each stage.

- (In case of damage) Customers who pay the communication fee by bank account will deposit the communication fee into the communication fee deposit account registered with U+ (another deposit account can be entered).
