I downloaded this app to learn about knots and with the illustrations along with the clear explanation, it's helping me do so. I'm not loving the in app ads though. I also wish the text wasn't bright red because it makes it difficult to read for long periods of time.

First of all, knots. Right? I know. This app is fantastic. Wish more apps were this simple and straightforward. Easy to follow with step by step pictures. Great way to have a quick reminder on knots you may not use frequently. Download it. And remember kids, "If you don't know a knot, tie a lot."

Useful knots is a great reference for those who love the great outdoors, but hate dealing with ropes. The instructions for various knots are easy to follow, and best of all, available offline. If you frequently go camping on your own, this is one app you should definitely take along. Might very well come in handy some day.
