Absolutely dreadful app. Fails to connect to the Gateway on most days of the week, annoyingly usually when on the way home and I want to put the heating system on. Regularly tells me to check the internet connection when my tablet, phone etc are already connected. I think it is scandalous that a company such as Vaillant have not rectified this problem. Oh, and by the way, this app apparently does not work with Huawei phones, so even the Chinese are unable to break into it!

02.05.2022 update. Two months on, still getting the error message, unable to connect to gateway. Doesn't come on when programmed, having to use the remote. On when you want it off, and off when you want it on. Worst app ever, despite the upgrades, Internet is on and working, despite what the app says. Not worth getting a Vaillant boiler, for all the hassle the app gives you.

Update to previous reviews: allows you to set schedules, turn heating up or down, and control heating remotely, all via your phone. There's also a wall thermostat to turn heat up or turn manually. Had been pleased with this when i first got it, but it went through a long period the last months of not appearing to connect to the boiler, vaguely following my programme but often coming on at night even though it was set to be off. Updated app now appears to work well. Will be 4* if it lasts!
