About this app

Walker Tracker’s companion app for custom walking challenges for corporations, municipalities, and educational institutions. The Walker Tracker step challenge app automatically logs steps or allows manual entry from pedometers. We integrate with nearly all step counters: Fitbit, Google Fit, Garmin, Misfit, Withings, etc. (Devices must be enabled in your step challenge program to connect).

Check in on your competitions, give points to friends, convert activities and participate in the discussion.

Please NOTE: Because of the way the Google API works, the steps we pull from the Google Fit API might be slightly different than those in the Google Fit app, and include other motion data such as bicycling. Please be aware of this discrepancy, which is out of our control.

Just "eh". Installed as part of a walking challenge through work. Maybe it's me, but I would think a "Walker Tracker" app would make use of the accelerometers and/or GPS in my phone like the app I've had installed for years does. But no... You need another peice of hardware to actually track steps/miles. My smart watch keeps tabs but the app won't let me select it. Will be removing this app upon challenge completion.

There are too many errors Yesterday, I got errors popping up for everything i clicked on. Today, my fitbit stopped syncing for the third time, and i got a 500 error when I tried to re-add my device. They removed the ability to manage the device from the website, which is BS, because now I am forced to use this garbage app that doesn't even work half the time

The Y-axis of the team average steps is cut off, so you cant accurate tell what the values are. When trying to scroll up or down on a "leaderboard" screens, the app will register the gesture as a side swipe and move to the "discussion' screen. Repeating the gesture does not move back to the "leaderboard" screen, so it seems there's an odd rightward justification.
