About this game

With 300 different types of items to be found, you will keep finding novel ways to deal with the 130 different types of monsters you will face on your journey! You have time to think, but this is no puzzler - you will have to use your weapons as much as your inventory.

The procedurally-generated dungeon and vast array of possible items gives immense replay value. Some games you'll find a good weapon early, other times you'll rely on wands or potions, or some combination. Sometimes in sheer desperation you'll read a random unidentified scroll... will it be a scroll of fire that incinerates your clothes? Will it be a blessed scroll of teleportation for the ultimate escape?

This game will show you a whole new form of the "roguelike" genre.

It is as much about the journey as the destination. You will die frequently, but you will learn tricks that will help your next valiant attempt until you one day conquer the dungeon!

When you get good enough to survive to 300 feet, you will be asked to upgrade your character to access the full dungeon. This is a one-off purchase for each type of character (for example, the sorcerer and sorceress are a single type - Evil Mages). The whole game can be played with any character - you only need to purchase your favourite character(s). This can also be seen/purchased in advance under Options/Store.

Supports different controls tuned for phones, tablets, and Android TV gamepads.

Some older versions are available from http://wazhack.com/android - please use one of these if the latest version doesn't perform well on an old or low-power device.

I played this game when it came out back on the iPhone 4. It made me fall absolutely in love with Roguelikes. This is still hands down the best one I have played on mobile. I randomly stumbled upon this game again and saw it had content updates I hadn't played.. so I'm buying it again. To the people complaining that you have to pay to unlock characters after the trial portion of the dungeon: I have gotten much more gaming time out of this for $8 than 95% of $60 games I've bought.

I got this gamed around 2-3 years ago. After It became publicly released on Steam. I had to buy it.. I bought it but wasn't impressed on how different it looked from the phone version. I recently picked it back up playing it and I'm amazed on how much its changed. I enjoy the game as I do to many rouge types. I just hope Waz will add more bosses besides the mine and Roman and dragon. The game has been the same for 2 years but Waz is only a one man army so what he's changed so far is a great start! Keep up!!

Been playing this daily for weeks, off and on for months. Easily one of the best, if not the best roguelikes with graphics ever.That's coming from someone who's been playing these types of games since the mid 90's, before the internet went public. Even with 100+ hours in this one I'm still finding new things. One can only hope Waz (the dev) will one day decide to implement some updated material into it. So yeah, do yourself a favor & unlock a class pair or two. It's a bargain for what you get!
