Wifi Heat Map let you create heat map of wifi signal quality in your flat, house, apartment or shop. Just draw your flat on the paper or use existing plans, take a picture by device camera. After that just walk in desired space and click on display on your exact location. Signal quality of your wifi will be placed on that map.

!!! Important NOTE:
As announced on Google's blog ( https://android-developers.googleblog.com/2017/12/improving-app-security-and-performance.html ) all apps which will be updated on Google Play will have to switch to current Android SDK (software development kit). Apps with older SDK with no run-time permission model will not be able to publish updates.

Because of this all apps (this also) will eventually require LOCATION permission as noted here:

Didn't work on my Pixel phone. I selected a Wi-Fi channel, took the photo, (which is always upside down and zoomed in after the app processes it) walked around the room, Touched the map at various points Like it says but nothing happens. It never does anything, shows anything and there's no way to finish or exit. The homepage will show the session but if I try to view it, it just goes back to the photo (which has nothing on it) and wants me to add more points which does nothing.

I didn't pay for anything. The premium version is now free. Anyways this could save me a lot of time if I was to want to have a heat map although I can analyze info by other means & display it graphically or numerically with more detail in short time this app is still useful because I can simply show others with the heat map why the router should go where it should. It reads signal quicker than requesting my system to analyze strength. App is light on system storage.

fantastic app. You do need to make friends with it. It's not too complicated, but it is very robust and capable.
