Yandex Maps is the ultimate app for navigating the city around you. Yandex Maps is packed with useful features that can help you get around with comfort and ease. There’s Navigator, with info on traffic jams and cameras, and voice assistant Alice. There’s searching for places by address, name, or category. Ratings and reviews

I prefer using Yandex products for everything as an alternative to Google, but for where I live and many places I've visited Yandex.Maps isn't a viable alternative yet. Many streets/roads are missing and the majority of places are missing as well in South Florida, USA and in all of Suriname, and Venezuela. I'd love to see this app grow to be a direct competitor with Google Maps on a more global scale. It would be a nice feature to submit missing roads/places on Yandex.Maps since there isn't much in places I've been. I will continue to support this app, but it is not my primary app due to my region. I recommend a different Google Maps alternative for the same reason. *Sputnik Maps is a good web alternative for my region, but it lacks a mobile application.

Only good when it works (rare). Upd: 1 - ordered taxi, the result was ACCEPTED and WAITING TIME was on while driver was away (not close, further then 5 minutes ride) Upd2 for clarity: the ride was ON while driver wasn't on place 2 - in Kazan, near river port, the internet was stable, was on the ground, but location was messed up (I think around 300m) Upd3: The location permission was obviously on and Location was on(the location was miscalculated a bit). I set the taxi arrival place manually.

There is a bug for years, which somehow when i ask for directions it insists on showing driving directions to a location instead of public transportation and i cant switch to public transportation... Usually there are options, car transport, public transport, taxi, walk, bicycle... But sometimes when i pick and address and choose маршрут it immediately goes into car navigation mode and shows me route options! And it's impossible to see how public transportation bus or metro would take me there.
