As other stated, why pay for something that was free? I get the costs for maintaining servers to store data, but $100/yr? That's robbery. Also, one of the features for the stupid fee states I can see individual panel production, but that's nowhere to be found in the app. And of course, they give you no way to contact them. WTH!? As for the app itself, when Sunstrong first took over, it was glitchy as hell. They fixed whatever issues they had and it works as it did before they took over.

I had not been on the app in a while today I decided to look back at the last few months usage so I could compare the Summer the last Summer, now I see to look at anything besides current usage you now have to pay a subscription, well the app is utterly worthless To me now, overall my solar panels make a little over enough to cover my yearly electricity, the heck if I'm going to pay a hundred bucks a year. that said I might consider it if it was 100 bucks for lifetime use... might.

$$ for what was previously free 0/10. live data (30-45 minutes ago) is useless. i can look at my electric meter to see that. stored data was great for showing friends and family interested in solar what it can produce. not paying 10/ month for that. app is useless. disconnecting my monitor from wifi. if I can't have my data, neither can sunstrong. it's been fun watching all of the one star reviews pouring in.
