This app is pretty good being that it creates txt files. The main issue I have noticed is that, when I go to edit a file, the app will create a new file if the same name followed by (1) then (1)(2), etc. How can I simply edit the same file and save it without the redundancy that is becoming increasingly problematic? One file has turned into 18 versions of the file, each slightly different from the previous. It would be good to have a delete option in the hamburger menu from the file itself.

I was a little skeptical after reading the older reviews. But I haven't experienced any of the issues previously reported by other users, including the comment regarding the "Google QuickMemo" knock-off. My text files are stored as '.txt' on my phone. I just needed a very simple notepad to write .txt files for my python scripts and ideas, this was exactly like the Notepad app on my Windows PC. Nothing fancy, I don't even notice the ads. Props to the developer for this, great work!

MISLEADING. Does not really save files as .txt files. When you save the file, it does LOOK like a .txt file as it has the notepad icon and it says ".txt" in the title of the file; but you can make any file look like that. It is the Russian Off-brand version of Google's QuickMemo+. It just looks different! When you plug your phone into a computer, the file you made does not appear at all. Just an empty txtpad folder. Exactly the same as QuickMemo+ defeating the purpose of a .txt files app!
