Ratings and reviews

Ever since the 7/1/2024 update, Discord has just stopped sending me notifications. I've followed like 4 step-by-step guides to fixing it, cleared cache more times than I can count, have done 4 full reinstalls, and have double-checked notification settings 8 times. Supports' only response when contacted was that "we won't be able to provide any updates for this issue." It's kind of hard to use a messaging app that won't tell me when I've been messaged.

I've used discord since it's inception and the phone app is so glitchy since the new updates. Videos will play in the background with no way to stop them unless I uninstall, Video freezes frequently, and switching between call interface and messages gets stuck. Trying to make the app "look cool" is not worth the performance issues. I hope you guys fix the quality problems with the new UI.

Good way to stay in touch with friends over long distance, or meet new friends with tons of online groups. Edit 2: After redownloading the app, I've noticed it's a lot more responsive. Still a small issue with banner notifications taking you to the right channel for a split second, then immediately putting you in the one you were in when you last closed the app. Still, my experience has improved significantly after a second install.
