They should be paying me to store information, not the other way around. The most latest downgrade that I noticed was that you have to shut off the auto sync on a desktop computer as it will not let you do it from a mobile device or tablet. Otherwise, it keeps pestering you about buying more space. BTW, doing a Google Mass file download is a trainwreck! Everything is in the wrong spot

Had it over 10 yrs. then it changed. Now you can't have offline access to all of your data. In other words, if you cancel the service, you lose a large portion of all your data. They changed the system so you can no longer sync everything onto your Windows computer. They now only allow you to sync a small portion of your data. Furthermore they no longer offer live support for the base plan. Chatbot sucks!. The base plan is very expensive for what you get. They should at least offer live support.

I have used Dropbox for at least 10 years, on different operating systems, and always had excellent experiences. unlike Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive, you don't have to wonder if your files actually uploaded. The interface is always simple to understand, and the free plan has generous storage, considering that it's free. I am very security-conscious so I appreciate the fact that the app does not my information with third parties.
