It's not terrible but it's not great either. It functions as intended, but. It does badger you to promote which costs a mint (although its entirely optional) but the biggest problem. It's barren. NO ONE is using it, there's one ad in a hundred mile radius. Not one search result, there is a single advert in the radius that I didn't put there myself. And the audience is similarly scarce. A buying and selling app with no buyers or sellers, you got to increase the user base or it's simply unusable.

Update: Issue with delivery appears to have been fixed. Shame that contacting Gumtree (as they recommend) is impossible. Hence 4 stars. Edit: Well done Gumtree, you've broken your own app presumably by not testing the last update properly. Like a lot of people on here I only search locally but the "delivery available" shows everything in the UK. Now the app is useless. I spend way too much time on here having a nosey at the ads. It's a load better than eBay!

think this is me and gumtree parting ways now. I have tried to persevere for the last 6 + months since the layout changed, it stopped being as easy to use and there has been a steady drop off in adverts that I can only assume is because of this. Now there can be days where only one or two ads are added in my local area in an area that used to be busy. the last update to include delivery items has just finished it off for me, no option to turn this off, setting distance filters doesn't help.
