I have only had the app for a few days, but I love so many features of the app. I particularly like that I can do large group chats. I teach an online class for my church group, and this app has simplified communication with them. I also like the scheduling feature for sending messages, which allows me to send messages when it's convenient for me but perhaps not the best time of the day for someone else. I also like the Textra Bot feature that gives tips and hints on using the app.

I've been using Textra for years and paid to have the ad free version. It's normally great, but lately I've been having the worst time with receiving messages from others and them reporting back that they aren't receiving my messages either. I wish this could be fixed because my stock app is awful and I rely on textra for all SMS & MMS. I've tried to resync, but it takes 24+ hrs and nothing changes, but there's also no way for me to actually use the app while it's syncing either. :(

This has always been a great app. There is only 1 thing I would change. I would change the delete message function. Why do I have to slide the message to the right and then click the garbage icon twice? That's 3 steps for what should be 1. It's a big time waster & really the only reason why I often switch to a different text app. Textra never fails to send a text, unlike Messages. I appreciate that!!! I'm patiently waiting for Android to add RCS support for 3rd party apps. 😎
