Japan Transit Planner-Norikae Annai is a multilingual version of the navigation application "Norikae Annai", the most downloaded in Japan.
It will show you the route or how to transfer by railways or airplanes in Japan.
It can check the route, the fare, and the required time easily as long as you input the departure station and the destination station.
Besides, you can caculate the accurate required time and the ride time since it contains the timetable of all the stations all over Japan (except for some sections).

It used to be quite good but now it's refusing to accept a lot of stations even though they come up in the suggestion box. Can no longer use it. 😥 Sorry, I've figured out what the problem was. In Settings~Route Options the Tokyo Subway Ticket had been erroneously toggled. May well have been a slip on my part or a glitch in an update.

Easy to use and navigate. The layout works well on the phone screen. Very nicely put together 👏

Spent three weeks in Japan, traveled by Shinkansen, bus, local train, and subway. This app is intuitive and accurate, showing multiple transit options at multiple times for easy travel planning. Train numbers, named and numbered stops, and platform identification is a great feature.
