Not secure at all. All of your messages are logged and saved. There is no way to delete them or your account. Look at the news, multiple criminals getting busted after using telegram for criminal activity. Use Signal instead. It's much more secure. It's open source, so nothing is hidden. Signal is the best. This is fake garbage.

This app has several great things that I love. Having end-to-end encryption solely is a favorite and that it shows who has the app in my contacts. It allows me to know that my conversations are 100% encrypted on both ends. Having the control that I can delete not only my messages but I can delete their messages on their end where it leaves myself feeling secure and protected. A bonus of the app is that I can see if they received my message and if they read it or not by having one or two checks.
