Used to be a great app. Since the last update though, it's very hard to use. The links for footnotes no longer appear to work. When you open a book, it automatically turns the screen brightness up to maximum, which makes it almost impossible to look at because it's so bright. You can't turn the brightness down either because it somehow overrides the phone settings. None of the settings seem to allow you to change any of this and re-installing it didn't do anything.

This is a scam. Its extremely confusing to use. I signed up for a free trial for their "listeners plus" subscription. It was SUPPOSED to charge my card $9.99 mthly after the free trial. I was charged immediately. You are SUPPOSED to receive a free credit to use for ANY audiobook mthly. What they dont say, is that your free credit is only good for SELECT titles in their "listeners plus"section, instead of their entire catalog. The free credit selection includes 10% of their catalog. DON'T !!!!

Fine... but has a lot of issues... there is no app launch animation. It looks clunky and just appears on screen after a few seconds when opening the app. When switching apps while reading, it changes pages and I lose my place. Syncing doesn't always work. I keep getting sent back to the first page of a book I'm 30% through and losing my place. Needs to be improved. I have tried reinstalling and clearing cache etc. Problems have not gone away. Almost feels easier to just carry my Clara with me.
