Loved the game back in 2013. I paid for it. 10 years later, I would still want to play it. Unfortunately, it's absolutely broken. Settings and progress do not save, I can't even pass the intro mission. <2013 review below> I like the turn by turn strategy type. There are 50 missions, which will keep you busy for a while, although the AI is highly naïve and predictable. The intermission dialogue is a fun bit although it could really do without the pantless general.

Love the game, I've been playing it on and off for years. Once you complete the campaign it would be nice to play opponents online again as it's more difficult playing humans. Please bring back the online feature. Edit 7th Nov 2023- downgrade to 1 star. It seems Rubicon have given up with this game now. Cannot save a campaigns progress, cannot play opponents online, buildings and oil derricks don't change colour when captured. Poor show.

The game is absolutely great, but there's one thing stopping me from both buying the DLC, and giving the full 5 star rating. The game's online doesn't work on android any longer, which is a real shame since it's so wonderful. If this gets a fix, I will change my rating and be looking forward to using the DLC content.
