Ratings and reviews

No matter what permissions I give, no matter what battery optimizations I select, no matter how many times I hit "help: not recording steps", it's always completely random whether the app tracks my steps or not. If I don't open it to sort of "wake it up" and remind it to track steps it will just show me 0 most of the time I open the app, rendering it completely useless. It's too bad, because every other pedometer app miscounts my steps by a lot while this one is accurate within 5% or so.

Was working fine until today. When I tried to open it, it kept crashing. I tried redownloading it, clearing cache and storage, and even restarting my phone. Nothing works. Edited to add: I was told to update to the new version as it would probably fix my issue. Unfortunately, even after repeating all the same steps that I tried the first time, the app still refuses to work.

When it works, it's great. But I'm getting tired of having to reset it nearly everyday. I have it set to not optimize battery and to have physical permissions. "Help: Nor recording steps" only restarts the app a quarter of the time ir less. the app has the same problems in my husband's phone (different make and model). I have to restart my phone every other day to get the app to run correctly. I think I'm going to have to look for another steps app-this one just won't work consistently.
