Watch is great. App is horrendous. When syncing, the step count and other data is sometimes only fraction of what was actually covered. It may later catch up on the next sync, or the next day, or not at all! I can see Google Fit is getting its data so it's not my phone or watch. The menu layout is poor as well; I have a social media link (don't care), an offer to buy stuff (don't need), and THEN I have the various settings I do care about, which one has to swipe to see.

Eh. I don't like that users **have** to give their location in order to even pair the watch. I don't care about the weather, and I don't care to give my location if I don't want to, or even have to. Sucks because I love my watch. Would be so great if there was flexibility and actual user's choice around this setting— without it impacting the watch being paired completely.

Watch is fantastic and records everything, but the app is a bit Hit or Miss every single update. If you think it's not syncing to Google Fit, fossil has once again disabled permissions and you just have to go override it in the Google, not Google Fit settings, Google settings. It really does record everything it's supposed to but make sure the watch band is tight enough and you have to open the app nightly if you want it to properly sync to Google Fit. It's controls work but check permissions.
