Ratings and reviews

The app has a slow response to "start" which is needed to start the metronome in sync with prerecorded tracks to find out the tempo. But a non-digital-sounding click is good. Also, the app could use a polyrhythm functionality, muting "n" number of bars, and a speed-up/slow-down graph like tempo map for practicing - those are needed tools in music lesson activities. But as a very basic metronome, it is good for what it is.

Please go back to the previous version. The sine sound wave seems to have changed, the display doesn't quite sync with the sound any more, and it can't be started right on the downbeat with external music sources, i e., latencies have crept in with this update.

I've been wanting something like this for as long as I can remember. A visual metronome gives you options and capabilities an audible one can't . Youd have to try it to see what I mean. This app does what it says and does it well. Love the tap button and custom time signatures. I can see my already very good timing improving in some areas. I love this app. And as far as I know it doesn't invade my contacts list. Thank you JSplash UPDATE: I've had this app since 2018 and I still love it.
