About this app

A reference for trigger points and referral patterns for 108 muscles. Features 160 trigger points with their corresponding referral patterns, 80 conditions that can be caused by trigger points, and 25 videos that show how to release specific muscles. Each muscle includes the visual referral pattern and point location, plus a written muscle action, referral, origin, insertion, nerve, comments, and audio pronunciation for each muscle. You can choose to view each muscle individually, or use the zones view to see all the muscles that refer into a specific area (or for a specific condition). This is a great help in discovering the source of pain.

This app features all the scientifically proven trigger points and referral patterns as shown in the research.

Trigger points are tight places in a muscle that cause pain to be felt elsewhere in the body. This is great for massage therapists, physical therapists, chiropractors, or anyone wanting to discover the source of muscular pain, and learn about muscle function.
Discover the source of pain with Muscle Trigger Point Anatomy.

I really didn't believe this would work. Got it on a recommendation, but since then it's been a lifesaver. It's delivered relief in five minutes when no other method has worked for hours. Happily recommended, as well as a massager to press the pressure points. Physical therapist said it seems fairly accurate; it shows blue glow pain areas and a blue X where something is off. Could be muscle tension or injury or something else, so just make sure you don't accidentally hurt yourself!

I am not a bodywork professional, but I have found this app to be super helpful with understanding many physical ailments I've had over time. Is it as comprehensive as it might be? No. Has it solved every question of every ache and pain I've ever had? No. Have I used it a lot? Heck, yes! Was it worth the (I think) $2.99 I paid for it? Yes, yes, yes!!! Many times over. I think the haters must just be cheap, because $3 is a small price to pay for just the anatomy reference this is.

This app is really helpful. I had constant pain in my calves and feet, and in the app it had a video that had shown how to fix the issue with massaging techniques. This app is well worth it. Most injuries or issues with the body in the app has detailed information on the origin of the issue in the body, and how to fix it. I really appreciate this app.
