Ratings and reviews

Not the best interface. I can't get the settings to where I can either see the whole page (especially when vertical scroll is turned off) - that bottom progress bar obscures lines of text - and not accidentally hit the screen and jump back to the previous chapter. Then when I get back to the chapter I was reading, I have to find my place all over again. Aggravating. Edit: Reduced from 2 to 1 star. I found the interface so aggravating that I bought the hard copy.

This was my favorite e-reader, too many changes to the UI and options. Where's the option to import books from your external? Why the pale interface or the changes to the library , where's the recent reads? Too many why's . The UI and other options missing weren't broken, why fix them. Fix what's broken compatibility issues but please leave the rest alone. it's not about a positive experience .We might as well just buy physical books . this is what happens when other people take over

I originally installed aldiko, and it did what I needed for some time. however, after it changed to cantook it is not great. when I went to attempt to move my files to a better app, I can suddenly no longer find them! they are nowhere to be found in my local files. these are files that I purchased, not from cantook but they are no longer in my local storage and I cannot export from within the app either. Tell me where you hid my books!
