About this app

Intercom for Android lets you place group calls with other Android and iOS(Infinite iNtercom) devices over Bluetooth and Wifi.

·Minimum configuration.
·Use volume buttons as push to talk
·Bluetooth LE buttons also supported
·No registration.
·No accounts.
·No buddy list.

Sometimes you can't talk directly to people around you:
·Motorbike communications. Rider-copilot. There are special headsets for all types of helmets.
·Inter vehicle communications (up to 100 meters / 238 feet). Motorbikes, cars, etc.
·Sports (ski, cycling, hiking, climbing).
·Noisy environments (construction, concerts, etc.)

Ok the app works great. It discovers other devices on the same lan with ease and was really straightforward. There is one caveat; there is a setting in the app ""Play audio as..." the options are "In call audio" and "music", by default set to "In call audio". On S25+ and S25 Ultra, if you don't switch this to "Music" the app fails to release the voice_call stream properly and the ringtone for subsequent inbound phone calls will route to the earpiece speaker rather than the phones main speaker.

The app has a lot of echoing. i tried to use a headset with mic to overcome the echoing, but the it don't work with the app. update: i figured out that, unlike other media apps, the app doesn't automatically switch to headphones when they are plugged in. i had to turn off the speakers. There was still about a quarter second delay and a little echo.
