About this app

myVicRoads is the official VicRoads app, which means:

- Secure access to a digital copy of your driver licence,

- Better control of personal information shared when proving identity and age,

- Confidence having your licence verified with the secure in-app scanner,

- Keeping your personal information safe and secure with two-step verification, in-app pin, and biometric login.

Digital Driver Licences are now available in the myVicRoads app to all Victorian full licence holders. The digital licence will be available to learner drivers and p-platers by 2025.

The app is also a quick gateway to your myVicRoads account where you can access a range of registration and licensing services online. In the app, go to settings in the top right corner and click ‘My account’ - no further login required

Ratings and reviews

It's only been one day but so far so good, everything was easy to set up. Needs an explanation about the difference between the timed QR code, the police barcode and the ability to scan QR codes. Also, dark mode would be great.

Can VicRoads/Gov add support to Google Wallet? Already supports encrypted/biometric Digital ID along Car Keys, Credit/Debit cards, Myki & Loyalty Cards. The vast majority of public either won't download another app or even know this is an available feature, so having the option to add an ID to a one stop app with all their other sensitive things will be far more beneficial & target a wider audience who already use the wallet features.

The app saying you're not eligible for digital licence or haven't registered interest and shows the button to register interest but when I click that, it redirect me to the Vicroads website where it is saying that customers are no longer required to registered their interest for digital licence. Why the information isn't align between app and website. Its frustrating, desperately waiting to get rid of physical wallet and waiting for digital licence.
