Ratings and reviews

It's a great app. It would be perfect if you could add in the chemicals that aren't registering when updating ingredient lists. EG, these tortilla chips I bought had a rating of 90, and I updated the ingredient list, and it counted the questionable silicon dioxide, dropping the rating down to in the 40s. BUT it didn't count the brilliant blue fcf (known to cause tumours and cancer) or the allura red eyes in the mix. I want to know exactly what I'm eating, and things like that should be included.

I loved it at first,it was helpful when trying to pick clean and safe products. However, I also paid into the premium package in order to be able to search up products without scanning them first. It worked for about 2 months and stopped. I have not been able to search for products for the past 5 months. I've contacted Yuka. I'll update review once there is resolution of the issue. UPDATE: yuka customer service was amazing! They resolved my issue, the app seems to be working again.

Good design, inconsistent information. This app is very well designed and is extremely easy to use. Unfortunately, the ratings they give are often arbitrary. I have found multiple instances where it gives different scores for the same product when different size packages are scanned. Somehow it comes up with a 40 point difference between organic and regular cream despite the ingredients and nutritional info being identical. App has strong ChatGPT did my homework vibes.
