I'd give more stars if there was an option to skip hanzi lessons for Chinese starters speakers. It makes it difficult to keep on with the rest of lessons from which I personally learn more valuable Chinese. Edit: Since the last update the app crashes on its own very often when I'm playing a lesson, so I have to start over again and again.

90% of the app is now things that are unrelated to learning. It's just a commercial game now with far too many popups and notifications etc. It's also difficult to navigate between the lessons now with the new map. You can't even use the app offline anymore which is ridiculous. The only thing that makes it bearable is that's it's still free. Also, it truly sucks that you can only choose Latin American Spanish. You can't even choose whether you want to have your own profile picture or an avatar

Can't change base languages without starting from scratch (eg. switch "learn Portuguese in English" to "learn Portuguese in Spanish"). Also, the "practice to earn hearts" option was removed, it's greyed out even if you lost lives, which is simply dumb, as it goes against the app's concept of "learn practising".
