Ratings and reviews

A bug-ridden barely maintained app. Streams stop playing for no reason. Shows then can't be restarted because the app thinks you've exceeded the play limit. App is unresponsive when connected to Chromecast, no way to sort search results etc. 2025 edit: years have passed and no improvements. More concerning, recently loads of 5* reviews have appeared which does not reflect the flaky streaming experience.

app stalls out when listening to music often enough for me to leave this review..kind of important when streaming music. it's not my connection, this has been happening for over a year and makes me go back to spotify and streams find. great content! just wish it wouldn't stall as it is right now. which is why I'm writing this.. enough already! even glitches enough that one DJ advertises "can't hear? download my app..." clearly glitching enough for his audience..downloaded his app.. worked immedi

There is some fantastic content on Mixcloud. There do seem to be major issues with the Android app that have not been addressed over the 2ish years that I have been using it. If you want to cast to a Google speaker, this is a horrible experience. Getting the cast icon to appear is often a challenge. Also the 'player' crashes. Using Android auto or Bluetooth are just as bad. Often playback repeatedly stops after a few secs or stops and can't be restarted. Other apps do not have these problems.
