Ratings and reviews

A bug-ridden barely maintained app. Streams stop playing for no reason. Shows then can't be restarted because the app thinks you've exceeded the play limit. App is unresponsive when connected to Chromecast, no way to sort search results etc. 2025 edit: years have passed and no improvements. More concerning, recently loads of 5* reviews have appeared which does not reflect the flaky streaming experience.

Used to be great, but no longer. An update a couple of months ago borked it completely. On launch it halts and complains that battery management prevents it from working. Helpfully, it provides a link to the Setting to override the background battery management. I then alter the battery setting, but it still won't launch without this message appearing. Okay, I've done what you want, but it still doesn't work. Due to this, the app is unusable.

great music app, periodically cuts out but I'm not sure if that's an android software issue. that's the only reason it's a 4 star. otherwise it's exceptional, I listen to all the shows I love, no ads, and it saves where I'm up to, even if I change devices which I do regularly. I really should pay for it in fairness the amount I use it!
