okay so typically this app is really really good but recently after their last update it's been horrible it's been glitched and I have to pay for the stupid premium just for my songs to play for my daughter literally I'm a 35-year-old mother and it's not working my little daughter always wants to listen to Midnight Sun by Zara Larsson but recently it's not been working ever since the freaking update I don't understand what's going on with this app right now but whatever it is you guys better fix it because my daughter has not been able to listen to midnight sun without an ad popping up I paid for premium and they're still as popping up so I mean it's good but it's not that good anymore because there's ads every 4 seconds of listening to the song so basically if you guys want to download it it's a good download but not really if you don't want to listen to ads all the timemy daughter literally loves this song and she's literally three years old and she can literally do the dance and sing along with it so yeah

2 decades after beginning I'm now unable to receive any help from Spotify making it impossible to change any relavent information on my account. There's no option with newest version to change how it's viewed only videos, lyrics, or pictures. UI has grown to useless proportions. No longer has all your music even if it was downloaded. After 25 years I may leave. Phone number is no longer available 0 email responses....

The app on chromecast has gotten worse. They've removed some of the functionality such as starting a song radio. when I go to search, instead of bringing up the keyboard it regularly shows a pop up that says "Use Spotify app to search". this is frustrating because it means I can't search using voice control. it frequently fails to sync progress on the track I playing when I move between devices. if I listen to an audio book and take a break to listen to something else, the audio book disappears from my recently played and I have to go search for it again. another issue stems from. having a few accounts signed into on the chromecast. if my partner is over, we will listen to something on my Spotify account on the chromecast. however when he leaves and puts music on in his car, if I open up Spotify it will have switched over to his account and show me what he's playing, despite him never opening Spotify on his phone while he's here. Now that Spotify are hiking prices again, I'm seriously considering cancelling. I'm not inclined to pay more money for a worse product.
