Reading Eggs is the multi-award winning learning program that helps children learn to read. Began very well and was impressed. After a week or two the app kept freezing, restarting and being buggy. Paid for first month subscription incase the bugs were down to my L.O getting through the levels too quickly for a free trial. The problems persisted and now she loses lives and boxes fill for clicking the correct answer meaning she's repeating the same thing over and over until I force restart. Not worth £1 a month, let a lone £10 a month! Subscription cancelled.

We've been using the programs for years and they are very well structured and thought through. The kids find them entertaining and have learned a lot. One little thing they find frustrating, though, is that when they try to swap duplicate cards in the Reading Eggspress program, they often can't get a new one because they've already got all the ones on offer (even though not having all that many altogether). That is a little demotivating and seems like something that could easily be changed.

I've paid for the year so my 4 year old and 9 year old sons can use it, but we've found it really tedious. There is little guidance, my 4 year old constantly asks what to click on next and usually, I don't know either. Some of the screens have no explanation and we will just aimlessly click on things to see if anything at all happens not sure if it's just frozen. The boys have lost interest in the games. 9 year old lost interest totally. many parts want more money or credits? I have no idea!?
