About this app

pCloud is the secure place to store, preview and share files, anywhere you go. Start with up to 10 GB free storage.

You'll be able to backup photos and videos from your device, play your personal playlists, or preview work-related documents. You'll also be able to share large files with anyone and control access with password protection and expiration dates. From your vacation photos to videos and work documents, pCloud brings all your files together.

• Start with up to 10 GB free. Extend the space on your phone with up to 2 TB
• Choose where to store your files - in the United States or the European Union.
• Scan invoices, reports or receipts with an easy-to-use document scanner.
• Backup photos and videos from your phone with the option Automatic Upload.
• Access and preview files across all your devices.
• Share large files with added security (password protection, expiration date).
• Play your personal music collection with the built-in audio player.
• Get offline access to important files, when you're on the go.
• Encrypt private files with client-side encryption, using pCloud Encryption.

Use pCloud Encryption as the vault for your passwords, financial reports or other sensitive documents. The files you upload to the Crypto folder will be protected with client-side encryption. This means that they will be encrypted before they get uploaded to pCloud. With pCloud's zero-knowledge privacy policy we, as a service provider, will not know what kind of data you store in the Crypto folder.

pCloud is also available for iOS, desktop (Windows, macOS and Linux) and from my.pCloud.com.

In order to start using 7 gb of free storage (not 10) you need to install the app on a second device, turn on an automatic upload (you can select the folder), install the app on a laptop. In order to unlock one more gb you need to invite a friend to sign up for pCloud. It's okay but I don't like when the terms are not in the description on Google Play. Overall app is okay.

Be wary: I've been using pCloud for more than a year, accessing my files was not always possible. Way too many times, the file would never download or the download speed would drop to 0, even be it on fiber connexion. The result is you can't get your files when you want them, and to the point I couldn't get back some of my files when I quit. A few days ago I switched to another service and all my files are now always ready, accessible anytime, anywhere.

The android app does not reflect the latest changes I made on my cloud drive, namely, there is a mismatch between what I see when I access my pCloud account from the browser and from the app. Every time I open the app it keeps saying that some contents might be outdated and that my account is being updated, but it's been doing this for days. This is a deal breaker, since I keep very important documents that need to be up to date. Edit: logging out and then back in, resolves it hence 2/5
