Ratings and reviews

So far it's been everything I needed. I used to use bluemail, but it took so long to load it genuinely put me off checking. Spark is fast, configurable, and a joy to use. The only gripe was creating a signature for one account; it was automatically applied to all other accounts too, and I didn't want signatures for them. I had to create a signature with an empty space for the others to resolve.

It's a brilliant email app and I've been using it for a long time. It's a shame though, that newer updates have made the app less snappy. There's a lag when you mark a bunch of emails as 'done'. It's disappointing when you want to fly through your emails like you used to be able to do. There's also a lag when you launch the app and I often think pressing the icon on my home screen hasn't registered. It has, but it takes a while to open. I miss the previous super-responsiveness.

After many years away from this app I installed it again. I did notice the sky high subscription model (way too high for me). Saying that the basic features (which most people should only need) will cost you nothing and are quite good. I find the left and right swipe actions VERY handy indeed. The smart inbox is a good thing to. I have given four stars due the cost of the subscription model,... but the actual main part of the app is a 5 star all the way.
