Seconds is widely recognised as the best interval timer for HIIT & Tabata training for mobile devices and is recommended by celebrity trainers and personal trainers to their clients all around the globe.

BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD:
Non-paying users may create as many timers as they wish, but once an interval timer is started it may not be used again. Upgrading to the full version removes this restriction.

FEATURES:

• Large, full screen, color coded display that is easy to read from a distance. The display works in either landscape or portrait.

• Templates for HIIT, Tabata and circuit training. A custom template to create every interval. And the compound editor where you can combine many interval timers into one.

• Speaks your interval names so that you can follow a workout without seeing the screen at all. Seconds can even provide prior warning of the upcoming interval. Other alerts including beeps and bells are available.

• Coordinate your music with your Tabata workout. Each interval can have its own music assigned allowing you to match the intensity of your music to the intensity of your HIIT workout.

• Seconds runs in the background allowing you to either have your display off, or use other apps while the HIIT timer is active.

• Export and import. Share the Tabata timers with friends or download them from the web and install them in Seconds.

Ratings and reviews

Good with some reservations. I bought this to replace Impetus, a great interval timer that is no longer being developed. This has a lot of the same features, but not as good. I wish it would allow me to use both text-to-speech, and an alert sound when the intervals change. If there's a way to do that, I haven't found it. Also, I upgraded to pro on my phone and then loaded the app onto my tablet. Now, it keeps prompting me to pay again.What that's about? Are there any solutions for that?

As another reviewer mentioned, the intervals start off okay but after 3, I found that this app added an extra 1 minute and 25 sec... no idea how or why. I set 3min intervals, 3 run and 3 walk. I checked all settings to ensure the "prep" mode was off and any other settings that could be the problem. I ran this Seconds app alongside another accurate timer on a diff device and watched each interval time countdown. Seconds app fell behind. Don't waste your time on this app!

Used the app years ago on iPhone, tried to use now on Android. don't waste your time or money on any paid upgrades. It's impossible to import shared intervals from the website, and impossible to link your fully paid Pro account to the website - without this I can't even save more than 1 interval on the website as it doesn't recognise I've paid to upgrade to Pro on the app. Used to be a great app on iPhone but looks like the developers have given up.
