Can no longer scan and get MAC addresses, which is not the apps fault, it's an Android thing. however if you download the desktop app so that you can scan your network, after you create an account and run the app for the first time and click the sign in button nothing happens, which makes both the desktop and the mobile app useless. apparently this is been reported for months and nobody will fix it at Fing.

I used to love this app, but it's now useless. It blames Google for not allowing it to read MAC addresses. When I open it, there's an old list from a previous scan. When I refresh the device list, a full-page message appears telling me to change its settings to read IP addresses but not how or where to do it. It may be a ploy to get users to upgrade to premium. Not gonna. By the way, neither is their support system of any help in this matter. Uninstalling.

Long time user of fing, even invested in the fingbox when it was on indegio, but since then la sweeper bought out fing and the quality and features have gone. What used to be free is now hidden behind a pay wall. Fing and the fingbox needs a hard reset after every update. It's as though la sweeper is trying to kill everything fing did and make you install the desktop version and pay through the nose for the privilege.
