Bad North is a charming but brutal real-time tactics roguelite. Defend your idyllic island kingdom against a horde of Viking invaders, as you lead the desperate exodus of your people. Command your loyal subjects to take full tactical advantage of the unique shape of each island. Everything is at stake: fail, and watch the blood of your subjects stain the ground red.

It’s charmingly brutal, with beautiful procedurally-generated islands and adorable soldiers juxtaposed against the blood-stained realities of war. You control the broad strokes of the battle, giving high level commands to your soldiers who try their best to carry them out in the heat of the moment. It’s accessibly deep, with simple player inputs masking a dynamic combat simulation that make it inviting to new players while challenging veterans.

An incredible mix of realtime strategy in a rogue like environment. The gameplay is simple but its mechanics make it deep enough. The mobile port is perfect for this game. The difficulties are well balanced and they give a fair level of challenge to the player. Graphics and art look simple at first, but the details make this game unique and enjoyable. Appreciated the option to set the game to run at 60fps (default 30fps) that gives an even more smooth experience thanks to great animations.

One of the best games with the worst faults. I Love this game, but my progress stunted by it not saving, I lose about 4-6 islands and lots of upgrading everytime I return. Shockingly bad fault for a premium game. I've seen lots of people write about this before, clearly are not interested in fixing the issue. Stated in 2019 that they "really want to fix this issue" ....

Amazing game. I love the art style and feel of the game. The strategy itself is not too difficult but also not too simple. Great game with good replay ability. 100% worth the price :) I also experienced no crashes, bugs, progress loss, or any other problems in my 10+ hours of playing.
