Edge Card Launcher is an overlay launcher/side panel with beautiful Material design and pleasing animations, accessible from any screen with one swipe. It is carefully designed for one handed use.

Edge Card Launcher comes with tons of functionality and customisation:
● Add apps, contacts, websites, in-app shortcuts and more.
● Adjust volume for media, calls, ringing, notifications and alarms.
● Adjust display brightness.
● Control media with play/pause, next and previous buttons, and view currently playing media info (pro feature).

Note: This app does not use the Accessibility service without user action or to bypass any privacy controls or to collect any data.

Edge Card Launcher needs one core permission to draw app overlays, and the following optional permissions for full functionality:
● Modify settings: To adjust volume or auto rotate device screen;
● Camera permissions: To turn on flashlight (torch mode);
● Read contacts: To add favourite contacts for easy access;
● Bluetooth: To control bluetooth device volume.
● Notification access: To view currently playing media info.
● Accessibility permission: To take screenshot, lock display, show quick settings and notifications.

Ratings and reviews

Great app, like the new update. Please implement a feature to lock the position of the bar. My kids have been moving it all over my screen. Edit: there appears to be a bug where the app stops running if using a hidden bar. Doesn't matter if battery optimization is turned off. Edit2: had to dock it more stars. There is no way to temporarily pause anymore so you can access things like allowing location access for a website.

I've used this app for years now, and I actually forgot that I even downloaded it because it just feels so much like it's just part of my phone and daily use. At least, it DID. Version 5 is terrible in comparison. Much the same as other reviews, upon update, the app erased all my previous settings, asks for permissions it already has, and will not stay in the location I put it. I will be looking for a replacement.

Unfortunately the latest update has more vices than virtues, as what it replaced worked much better. The present version causes my keyboard to hang, won't switch off when it has been added to my accessibility draw, the touch bar doesn't locate fully down the side of my screen - it only works around the middle, and the sensitivity setting is all or nothing. I'm trying to use my keyboard and must switch off the edge launcher. Right now, it's more edge lord than launcher.
