FairEmail is simple to use, but if you are looking for a very simple email app, FairEmail might not be the right choice.

FairEmail is an email client only, so you need to bring your own email address. FairEmail is not a calendar/contact/task/note manager and cannot make you coffee.

FairEmail does not support non-standard protocols, like Microsoft Exchange Web Services and Microsoft ActiveSync.

Almost all features are free to use, but to maintain and support the app in the long term, not every feature can be for free. See below for a list of pro features.

Ratings and reviews

Works like a charm, full of suggestions and help boxes, lots of features! Only thing that's highly confusing is the "name" field when you add a new account: it feels like that would be the account's name, when it actually is the name that appears as the sender in your emails (which creates funny situations and I've seen multiple people be confused).

I used K9 and Blue Mail previously, but both eventually suffered from lack of development and became less stable. I found FairEmail almost by accident, but have been really impressed by this app so far. It easily does everything I need, and seems really well developed and supported. I personally won't pay subscriptions for apps, so was pleased to find that a one time payment option was given. I happily paid it to support the developer, even though I don't really need any of the 'pro' features.

Hands down the best email app around. It's never been so easy to setup all my accounts and use them without even thinking about it. The default settings are perfect, so you can just download the app and use it right away. I've never seen so many useful features in an email app. I can't recommend it enough. The developer is very friendly and incredibly efficient. The first time I asked him support I received the answer (that solved the problem) literally four minutes later. Today I asked him to add a feature and he published the new version within a couple of hours. I wish there were more developers like him. In general the development is very active and it's open source.
