I was on the fence purchasing this app. I wish they had a week trial, as I would have purchased the app a lot sooner. Reading some of the reviews where it says you have to copy the files out of the vault to play them is completely wrong. I've created a vault on my local storage and on Google drive I've added videos, PDFs, images. I can play all media directly inside the vault. I use VLC to play the videos and I have no problem. The only feature I'd like to see is thumbnails, if at all possible.

So annoying... I can't upload files that are already in my Drive (HAVE to be from device). I can't leave an upload going in the background (no option to keep vault unlocked while uploading, so it auto cancels). No image/video preview icons. Also, if you use instant lock, it locks while you're in the upload screen LMFAO! Worthless. You expect me to download TERABYTES of files AND reupload them ALL with awful internet? And then expect me to have the app opened that entire time? Give me a break...

Works for my needs. Wanted to back up sensitive documents as sometimes they're sent while I'm out and about, but didn't want them uploaded as-is in case someone got into my account. For Google Drive, make sure your account is not enrolled in the advanced protection program or you'll get endless "An error occured" messages. I will say it's a bit expensive for the app though.
