Ratings and reviews

I'm an elementary user, but my experience with coinbase wallet is bad. Charges at every turn, unclear instructions, hard to find things in the app, overall bad. To top it off, the support is non-existant. Even the free quest rewards are bad in that you have to buy whatever it is close to the same amount as the reward, but you also have to pay all the transfer fees.

It is easy to use, which is nice, but it has a few bugs. If you buy a coin that has a 4% sell tax or higher, you cannot sell that coin because when you change the slippage to higher than 3% it reverts you back to the asset page, or the smart contract fails and you are forced to pay the network fee. This has cost me thousands of dollars and I'm sure other people much more. I don't think this wallet should have launched with such a crucial flaw. Also, some coin balances don't update.

Pretty mediocre. "something went wrong" error happens a lot when trying to send. Sometimes random, sometimes because the balance can't cover the hilariously high network fee (which cannot be adjusted even though other apps let you freely do that). You'll have to guess that is the error reason. It supports tons of different coins, but fails at fundamentals and sometimes charges insane gas fees (and doesn't let you change them on many popular coins).
