About this game

Code Breaker: Logic Puzzle is a traditional game of logic, ingenuity and reflection, which consists of guessing a secret code made up of a sequence of colors.

If you are a fan of the classic Mastermind board game, you will love this modern challenge. It is the ultimate Code-breaking game designed for those who enjoy a true mental workout and brain training.

This classic challenge is also widely known by many names such as:
Mastermind
Master mind
Code breaker
Codebreaker
Code-breaking
Bulls and Cows
Brain master
Secret Code Game.

Code Maker
• The application generates the secret code automatically.
Code Breaker
• The player must guess the secret code.

Game Modes
CLASSIC: Traditional mode, much more difficult. The position of each clue does not correspond to the position of each color; you must guess which color each clue corresponds to. Therefore, the position of each clue is random.
INITIATION: The position of each clue corresponds to the position of each color (i.e., the first clue corresponds to the first color, and so on).

Types of Game
● Mini 4: Secret code of 4 colors.
● Super 5: Code of 5 colors.
● Mega 6: Code of 6 colors.
● Giant 7: Code of 7 colors.
● Colossus 8: Code of 8 colors.
● Titan 9: Code of 9 colors.

Game Layout (from left to right)
• Top row: Settings button, the red shield that hides the secret code, and shield controls.
• Column 1: Records.
• Column 2: Numerical sequence that establishes the order to follow in the game.
• Column 3: Clues.
• Column 4: Rows where the colors must be placed to guess the code.
• Column 5: Colors in play.

How to Play?
• Colors must be placed in the desired position of the row in play.
• Rows are filled consecutively from first to last; the order cannot be altered. When a row is filled, it is locked and you pass to the next row.
• Once the row in play is complete, the clues appear.
• If you open the shield to see the secret code before the game ends, you can continue playing, but the game will not be saved for the records.
• The game ends when the secret code is guessed or when the last row is completed.
• Features Auto save/load.

Types of Movement
• Drag and drop.
• Press the desired color and then press the destination position.

What do the clues indicate?
● Black Color: A color in the secret code is in the correct position.
● White Color: A color in the secret code is in the wrong position.
● Empty: A color that does not exist in the secret code.

Row in Play (Highlighted)
• Delete a color: Drag and drop it out of the row.
• Change position: Drag and drop it to the desired position.
• Place colors: Select them from the available colors column or any row containing colors.

Set a color in all rows
• Long-press on a color on the board to place it in the same position in all upper rows. Long-press again to delete it.

Records
• The first column marks the best record (the fewest rows used to solve the game).
• You can only erase a record at the start of each game, before the first row is completed.
• To erase a record, drag the mark out of its position.

Customization & Options
• Play with numbers, colors, letters, shapes, animals, or emojis.
Autocomplete: (Initiation level) Correct colors appear automatically in the next row.
Repeated colors: The code may contain duplicates.
Extra color: Increases difficulty.
Zoom: Enlarges the active row (drag by the number to move).
Sound & Flash: Visual and audio feedback.
Autocheck: Automatically verifies the row when filled.

Works well as solitaire. Does not have a two player option. Such would be nice to have. I.e where one human sets the code and lends phone to another human to solve. This could also be used to produce (almost) infallible clues for a real life physical game. Should be relatively easy to implement. Having phone guess the human's hidden answer is also a feasible extension, but a lot more work. (I (tried to) leave this asked-and-answered as perhaps a useful way to inform other readers).

Hi, if you look at all my games you will see another mastermind, it is for two users but not online, to play on the same device. Thank you very much. https://play.google.com/store/apps/dev?id=8500759870279854492

App works great, I don't understand the negative reviews. I am running the game on a phone that's about 5 years old... No problems whatsoever. Each round takes about 3-6 minutes with a 2 to 5 second advertisement between. Not bad at all. Thank you for not inundating us with so many ads that we are forced to delete the game. Great Job. Thank You!

While it's a good game, I'm now being regularly cookie walled with a vast list of data vampires, some of the cookies are for TEN YEARS. I can reject the cookies but it takes several minutes to work my way down the list. You should have a "reject all" button or slider. Reluctantly uninstalling.

They are European Union regulations, Google's consent dialog is standard for applications, but as things are, it is increasingly difficult for developers to comply with the European Union and Google regulations. I will soon publish a 5-color mastermind, free and without advertising. Thank you very much and sorry for the inconvenience.
