I am using the mini piano pro app. It cost $2.99 and doesn't have any ads. Well worth the price. You can set it to any type of sound you like. Just like any electronic keyboard. There are many settings available but I just use the keyboard to help with finding my notes and to checking that I am singing on pitch. You can play multiple keys at the same time. Nifty little aid.

This app is great! No menus at startup, it goes straight to the keys and the ads on lite ver. weren't intrusive at all. The only complaint I have is that when pressing the play song button, the selection menu doesn't leave anymore. It stays there until you close the app. Is there a way to fix this?

Response to developer response: Yes I do have an example - Perfect Piano has a widget of a one octave keyboard that can be used on any android device home screens. Original review: Amazing no-frills app with a nice sampled tone. Replaced P*rfect P*ano with this and won't go back! I would love it more if it had a widget for a quick keyboard access on my home screen (I don't have perfect pitch, and this would really help).
